King Charles: Loveblood

I took a trip to New Hampshire this weekend and grabbed a handful of CDs for the ride. Included in this pile (of course) were my most recent favorites: Kishi Bashi, Brian López, The Shins, The Beach Boys, and King Charles.

Surprisingly, one of our pals riding along in the car mentioned that he had heard King Charles and the Mississippi Isabel EP. This conversation necessarily preceded an hour long Loveblood enjoyment session.

It reminded me that I never posted about Loveblood. Well PaisleyReaders, today is the day I rectify my gross oversight.

Loveblood will ultimately lead to the coronation of King Charles as greatest new pop musician of 2012. You heard it hear first.

Once this album is released in the United States jack-asses like Kieron Tyler will be forced to eat their self-aggrandizing words. The depth of the Kings pop relegates goo-gooing faux members of the monarchy to shame. I’m sure the populace will appreciate being treated as adults rather than little monsters.

and now you know.
