Crooked Still: Friends of Fall

I managed to drown out the dog barking by playing Foreigner Acoustique as loud as I could bare it.  “Say you will!!!”

As many of you know, I’m switching coasts tomorrow morning.  Leaving the sunny shores of California for the frost bitten bays of Boston, MA.  So, I’m looking on the bright side of all this state swapping by checking out the MIT, Berklee, NE Conservatory of Music pedigreed Crooked Still.

Their new EP, Friends of Fall showcases their abundance of talent both writing and performing.  Yet, my favorite tunes just happen to be the two covers, Paul Simon’s American Tune and The Beatles’ We Can Work It Out.

I’m going to spend my last night in Berkeley listening to the folks from Berklee.  See you guys tomorrow.

  1. I like the banjo and fiddle in their songs, and I know someone who can play both….I will get him on it, and we will do a cover!

  2. Mustache Administrator, you are letting me teach the South Bay in the ways of true American music. Your patriotic contributions shall not be forgotten.
