The PaisleyTunes Blog is taking a day off and heading down to Santa Cruz for a bit of surfing and football. Preparing for such a pleasant drive down the coast got me thinking about just what music I’d need while skirting along the Big Sur cliffs high above the Pacific Ocean.
And.. yeah, of course a Bostonian/Nantucketter made the ideal album. Willie Wright’s 1976 Telling the Truth is the perfect coastal kick-back music.
This is a Blasko special… the next time I’m absorbing a Nantucket Sunset, with a Cisco in my hand, it will be with Willie Wright blasting on the Bose. Everyone should enjoy life this way.
