Andrew Bird: Fake Conversations EP

I just happened to hear this EP the other day and really enjoyed it.  I don’t play too much Andrew Bird – simply attributable to the fact that it puts me in a very peculiar mood…  and typically, in no time at all, I find myself listening to The Giant of Illinois on repeat – but I have found this album to be extremely pleasant.  Perhaps due to its diminutive track listing.

The album is culled from Bird’s October 2011 tour and is being distributed on his website, although I’m not sure how to get it aside from buying tickets for the upcoming tour.  What I do know is Andrew is a great musician and, if you don’t mind running the risk of falling into a Birdian haze and overdosing on string quartets and whistling, you should check this EP out.
